The Mel Smith Project is committed to serving women in Wynne, Arkansas, and surrounding communities who are facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Under the leadership of Pastor Mel Smith Sr., our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and restoration.

One of our most important efforts is the renovation of two dedicated women’s shelter homes—safe, private spaces designed for women escaping domestic violence, unstable living conditions, or crisis situations. For their protection, the addresses of these homes are not disclosed.
